REAMER CARRIAGE HOUSE
Carriage House Expansion Yellowstone National Park North Entrance Gardiner, Montana
Historic carriage house designed by architect Robert C. Reamer. Constructed in the early 1900's for concessionaire H. W. Childs, outside the park itself where automobiles were not yet allowed. Subsequent use as a residence, store, and art gallery. Most historic integrity intact.
Project encompassed: - accessibility and safety improvements - second commercial building of sympathetic character on neighboring property - pedestrian terrace and customer parking
